Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic and talented LPN/LVN

Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential, partial hospitalization and Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBH). We treat males and females ages 7-20 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses. Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic and talented LPN/LVN.

The LPN/LVN Key Responsibilities include:

Administers medications as ordered; instructs residents in use of medication.

Monitor staff & residents throughout shift

Ensure the safety of residents by ensuring that precautions are being followed as written by physician

Ensure that daily schedule is being followed as outlined

Attend unit shift report

Communicate any changes to the daily schedule to the DON immediately

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in State of SC or eligible to receive or renewal).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 7-21.
